We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that these three are one God (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19, 20). We believe God chose to reveal the invisible attributes of eternity past through His words and works (Gen. 1:1; Rom. 1:20; Psalm 19:1-6). We also believe that though they are equal, there is an apparent willful submission within their inter-relationship. The Father is God, but He is not the Son or the Holy Spirit (Matt. 3:16, 17). Jesus is God (John 1:1-4) yet He is not the Father to whom He submits or the Holy Spirit who testifies of Him (John 1:14, 5:19; Matt. 4:1). The Holy Spirit is God, yet He is not the Father from whom He proceeds or the Son who sent Him (John 15:26, 14:16, 17). We further believe that the fullness of the Godhead is embodied in Jesus Christ, and we are complete in Him (Col 2:9, 10).
